The Boreal Shield covers almost 4,000km from Saskatchewan to Newfoundland, or approximately 20% of Canada’s landmass.

Winnipeg would be a good choice, as would Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal or Quebec City. There’s so many possibilities. Most places will build specifically for the Olympics so being Olympic ready really shouldn’t be a huge factor.

Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal have NHL teams therefore they already have arenas for hockey, figure skating etc.
