How much would it cost for my friends and I to travel around Europe?

hellothereeveryone asked:

My friends and I thought if would be fun and a great experience to travel Europe after we graduate high school. There are about 10 of us and we will graduate in 4 years(not including the end of this school year). I was just wondering about how much we should save, if we decide to go.

I want to travel around Europe starting with London this February 09. Any advice on traveling by train?

hamid1601 asked:

I want to visit the historical places in England, Italy and France but I don’t know which is better, using train or by flight. Regarding train, I don’t know which one to choose because they are too many of them and the fares are a bit complicated. And I have 3 weeks to spend. This is my first time to travel to Europe. I also have issue with accomodation. Any suggestion on good hotel or a house/apartment to stay?

Where is the best place to travel in Europe in January?

DanDaa777 asked:

Where is the best place to travel in Europe in mid january for a couple? We don’t want a romantic holiday but more like a city break. Somewhere with pretty good clubs & bars as well as a bit of january sales. Maybe if there’s a bit of snow too it would be great.

Security Travel, Free Bahamas cruise. Is it true?

skylaroo02 asked:

Okay, I dropped my name and number in one of those “you could win…” boxes somewhere… About two weeks later I got a phone call that I won a cruise- for myself and a friend, for 4 days, 3 night stay in the bahamas.
Of course I was skeptical. I checked out the website (http://www.securitytravel.com), and called to speak with a travel agent… Then decided to take the plunge.

There are a few fees- an administration fee of $87.50 per person, then there are port taxes (since you aren’t taxed in the Bahamas), and hotel tax, which I was assured would be around $15. Then, when you set the date you want to go, you pay another $99.

So, overall, for about $250, give or take, you get a cruise to the bahamas, hotel stay for 3 days, and a cruise back to the US…

I paid the administration fee for myself, now my friend just has to pay.. and then we pick a date to go.

Has anyone else done this, or had this work out, or NOT work out?? Please tell me your experience!!! Thanks…

How do you buy your cruises? Local travel agent? Online? Why?

PJ asked:

I really wonder what works best for people.

Do you use a local travel agent, a national agency, or go direct to the cruise line? Do talk by phone, internet, or walking into an office?

Are you pretty happy with how it works? Do you get good service and a good price?
