I will take a cruise from Seatle to Alaska round trip. On the way back the ship will stop at Victoria (Canada) for 5 hours. I am not planning on walking out of the ship, but still I dont know if they will ask me or not for any type of document. I am a resident alien and have a residency card (green card) but I dont have a passport from my country. I want to make sure I will not get in trouble for not taking a document (for example a passport) If any body knows anything about this kind of situation please let me know.

My family and I might be travelling to Egypt, which has a low cost of living but since we live in Singapore, flight prices might be hefty. Oh, by the way, we’re also considering Spain. Is that a better option than Egypt in terms of price?

We’ve already booked a cruise on Norwiegan Cruise Lines to the Mexican Riviera. We’re taking our 21 month old and almost 5 year old kids with us. We’ll have extended family with us to help out as well.

I’m trying to think of everything we’ll need and I’m sure there will be things that I can’t come up with on my own. Any suggestions?

I’ve already bought the cloth swim diapers (they don’t allow the disposable kind). I have water shoes for both kids. We have a brand new bottle of sunblock. We’ll obviously take children’s medicines with us just in case. We’re driving their so we’ll have some things to keep them entertained in the car.

It’s difficult planning for such a multi-faceted vacation -car trip, hotel stay, cruise, and shore excursions. We’ve been on a cruise before, but never with kids.

I am not sure what you mean from where? I want a cruise that allows you to dock in Greece and Egypt. I don’t think it matters where I leave from as long as it stops in those two places and doesn’t last longer than like 10 days.
